For the last 10 years health and fitness have been the priority in my life. I completed my first Fitness and Nutrition program in 2005 and have been helping friends and family in and out of the gym for years. Finally, in 2013 I decided to begin working on obtaining my personal training certification through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).  In 2014 I completed the course and began my new path as a Personal Trainer.

I decided to become a personal trainer because of my passion for health and fitness, and I was constantly being asked for assistance and guidance from friends and family members.  As a professional in the Human Services arena for years I have witnessed the results first hand of poor health and nutritional choices on a daily basis and hope to be able to bring knowledge and support to those who want to create permanent lifelong changes through new fitness and nutrition habits.

Now that I have become a personal trainer, I hope to coach and guide clients on their own journey for health and whole-body wellness. My ultimate goal is to be an inspiring and positive influence in my community as well as the lives of each client when they may not be able to motivate themselves.

I also live a very active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, running, lifting weights, skiing, kayaking, paddling on my SUP and all forms of fitness and strength yraining.  I have knee issues that prevent me from running long distances but I love participating in 5 and 10k fun and mud runs and plan to do a Spartan Race this year. The things I enjoy and do to relax when not working are cooking, spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling, camping and being outdoors.
